Rivière Salée

The Rivière-Salée plain is a large area for growing sugar cane. Although there is no longer a distillery on the territory of this commune, one can still see on one or the other of the “Habitations”, structures dating from the last century.

Rivière Salée has a mangrove rich in numerous mangroves and other crabs.
